Privacy Policy

Effective September 3, 2026 · Fabl Design LLC

This Privacy Policy explains how Fabl Design LLC handles information in connection with the Build with Fabl platform (the "Service"). It applies to visitors of our website, builders and their team members who hold accounts, and the clients and subcontractors who use our portals.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, company name, email address, password hash, role, and profile details.
  • Project and business data — projects, leads, clients, proposals, change orders, schedules, tasks, daily logs, selections, invoices, and subcontractor records that you enter.
  • Uploads — documents, plans, insurance certificates, and jobsite photos you or your users upload.
  • Communications — messages sent through the Service and emails you exchange with us, including support requests and feedback.
  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, timestamps, and error diagnostics.
  • Advertising data — if you arrive from an ad, the campaign or referral parameters attached to that visit.

2. How we use information

  • provide, operate, secure, and support the Service;
  • create and authenticate accounts and enforce role-based access;
  • send transactional email such as confirmations, invites, reminders, and notifications;
  • troubleshoot, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce our Terms;
  • analyze usage to improve features and performance;
  • send product news or marketing where permitted — you can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Data to train general-purpose AI models.

3. Roles: controller and processor

For account and website data we act as the controller. For the project data a builder enters about their own clients, employees, and subcontractors, the builder is the controller and we act as a service provider/processor, handling that data on the builder's instructions.

4. Who we share information with

  • Service providers — cloud hosting and database, email delivery, file storage, error monitoring, and analytics, each bound to confidentiality and permitted to use data only to provide their service to us.
  • Within your workspace — data is visible to the builder's team and, where the builder shares it, to the relevant client or subcontractor through their portal.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember preferences, plus limited analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in will not work without the essential ones.

6. Data retention

We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. Logs and diagnostics are kept for a shorter period. You can request deletion at any time; we will delete or anonymize data except where retention is legally required.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our hosting provider under access controls, with row-level database rules that restrict each account to its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Your choices and rights

You may access and update most information from within the Service, export your data from the Import / Export area, unsubscribe from non-essential email using the link in each message, and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information by emailing communications@fablarchitecture.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR, including the right to appeal a decision or lodge a complaint with a regulator. If you are a client or subcontractor of a builder, please contact that builder first — we will refer such requests to them.

9. Children

The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. International users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where practical, announced by email or in-app.
